Hello from central Arkansas

I joined this site in hopes of getting some very useful information on a project the wife and I will start this weekend. I just purchased a 30 X 40 x 10 metal building so this weekend we start prepping the site for the forms. I know nothing of forms and concrete but the wife has family and friends that do. prepping the site in my opinion will be the hardest part since its all gravel. not sure what else to say except any advise will much appreciated.

Welcome from Clarksville, Randy. What part of central Arkansas are you in? Built many steel buildings over the years, most are pretty easy to build if you have the right equipment and tools. Last one built was a 100'X120' here in Clarksville, in '95. Build your center bays first and then build out to your ends. Don't tighten the bolts until you have your frame completely up, just snug them up. Make sure that the columns are plum and that the building is square and then go back and tighten your bolts.
