Hello All,
I found the site looking for info on a 1950’s Westinghouse air compressor I was debating buying from Craig’s list. (missed out this time:( ) Web site looks very cool.

I am into wood working, metal fab/welding, tinkering, and vintage machinery/tools.

I bought a two car garage er I mean I bought a house this year. First thing I did was set up my shop. Been collecting tools seriously since I was 15. In my 20’s now. I love buying a piece of old iron from the 1930’s for less money and way better quality than a shiny new tool.

I will try to post a few pictures for your viewing pleasure.

The shop being set up. Custom made birch cabinets complements of a remodel Dad did when I was a kid. Interestingly enough my Grandfather installed the, then new cabinets in the house he built for the same people in the 60’s. Way nicer than the cabinets I have in my kitchen. Need to take some new pics now that the garage is filled up/organized . Should have bough a 3 car garage. The sickness continues…..:lol_hitti

1944 delta unisaw. Some one left it at the scrap metal yard at the dump so I saved it, replaced the bearings, de-gunked, welded up a rolling base, added a biesemeyer fence, router table insert, cabinets/storage drawers. I LOVE this saw.

in the above pic you can see the 1930's Boice Crane band saw, 1950's scroll saw and 1940's craftsman buffing wheel in the background kinda cut off in this pic

1940’s Walker turner drill press. 2nd owner. This is Chrysler hugger orange paint sprayed by the original owner in the 60’s. Sadly the 440 charger painted the same color was not for sale for $75 as well. I tossed the funky non original belt guard.:wtf: Ops don't tell OSHA! looking for an original cast iron belt guard fyi if anyone see's one.

1930’s or 40’s ? Trojan bench vice. Before and after electrolysis tank submersion. It was rusted solid. Not bad for $10
