Good Day All,
As noted in the title, I am located in Central, MN.
I would first like to thank everyone that contributes to The Garage Journal. I stumbled upon this site off and on over the past few years while I have been thinking about getting a lift. I will be creating a post on that in the near future. I really value forums, especially the threads that people are able to provide actual facts/experience vs. throwing out opinions. There seems to be a fair amount of that here, with some opinion mixed in which is great.
For my "garage", I am lucky that my Wife agreed to let me rent a space a few doors down from our own business building, we don't have enough free space in our business building and cannot expand on our current site, so I have to rent. The space is 2500 square feet, heated with 16' ceilings, a bathroom and a small "office" space. The office is also storage in this case.
I like square things. My daily driver is a Ford Flex, splitting time with a Jeep Wranger. Our toy cars are a classic mini, VW Squareback and a Buick Roadmaster Wagon...from one of the smallest square vehicles to a land yacht. Right now, the mini and the Roadmaster are apart waiting on me to have time and a safe way to get some of the work done.
In addition to trying to figure out how to work on our cars...I have zero background on this, thank goodness for forums and YouTube vids. Seems now days, you can learn just about anything with online access if you have the desire. Again, I am grateful for all the folks that take the time to make vids. I also enjoy boating and paddleboarding.
Not sure how much I will be around here, but I will continue to lurk and will do my best to provide valuable input if there is anything I actually know anything about.
Again, thanks for all of the information that is in this site!
-Dan
