Hello All,
Located in Syracuse NY and my gf and i are finishing up the process of buying a house. It has a small one car garage located directly behind the house that requires a 90 degree turn to enter. Needles to say its to small for my 2011 nissan frontier CC long bed and the turn is too tight. My gf could get here car in there.

We are looking at some point in the near future to relocate the garage on the property, probably build new, large single car so that i can get my truck in side to do work as well as have room for work benches and tools.

Spending time reading up on build threads and looking at layouts. I work in commercial construction so i would like to do as much work as possible by myself but will probably sub out the concrete and possibly framing work just due to free time with work.

Planning to get lots of ideas.

Thanks!

Kevin G

Welcome, Rochesterian here. I can sympathize with the one car. Bought a house last year and have the same situation except mine is attached.

Kevin: welcome to our group and ask questions if you need help or plenty of reading to catch up on as you might have already seen.

post up any pictures of your garage and access if you need a few ideas that we might have to offer or just so we can see some if you have time and want to.

cheers
