Hello from Cleveland

Hi Guys,

My name is Rob, as my UN implies. I live Cleveland, OH. My wife and I just bought our first home in November of 2014, it has an attached garage with 2 bedrooms above it. Not my dream setup, but it's an awesome first home.

This garage is where I do it all, woodworking, automotive repairs... you name it. I especially enjoy restoring the older tools/machines. The cost to revive some of the older machines is so much less than the cost of some of the newer junk out there.

I've been browsing this forum for about a year now. I was restoring an old Craftsman 10" table saw (113.29991). That was my first tool restoration. Coming up I will be restoring my Grandfather's old Hein Werner WS 1.5 Ton jack, and an old stanley 6" bench grinder.

Rob: welcome to our group and nice to hear you have a garage because some of the members don't have any and have tools in their apartment or condo bedroom closets.

any chance you can post up a few pictures of your refurbished table saw or some of the other projects you mentioned that you are going to start? here's a Craftsman table saw i bought from one of my 75 year old clients that has done several. i have a couple others i might try to redo myself or sell to a member so they can have one too.
