Hello from Colorado

Although I’ve been a member of the forum for over a year, my work has kept me from being active. I'm a long time Denver area resident and an automotive and home automation enthusiast. I have restored several collector cars and try to do almost all the work myself. Because of my other interest in home automation, I founded Innovative Home Systems prior to my retirement from the Telecommunications industry in 2005. While talking with customers, friends, and neighbors I realized that almost everyone with a garage (myself included) occasionally forgets to close their garage door. In addition to an invitation to crime, an open garage door is unsightly, annoying, wastes energy and allows wildlife to invade the home. Several additional years of product development resulted in a new product now known as GarageHawk®. Now that the development is done, I hope to get back in my garage soon to begin work on my next restoration.

I've done two Corvettes and a Camaro. I'd kinda like to go to the other end of the spectrum and do an AMC Metropolitan convertible. They had become very overpriced (IMO) for a while but seem to be settling back a bit now.
