I’ve turn wrenches for 35yrs on diesels in commercial lobster boat herein Maine. Live in a small town along the coast Called Columbia Falls. I enjoy the topics on this site and find some quite useful. My company has large shops shops to fit lobsterboats in but I’m redoing my old shop for myself and the local young guys that are in high school to work on their stuff. I never had anyone who would help me when I was a young guy on my junk stuff.

Welcome! Love Downeast Maine, we have relatives with a place in Northport, and I've been up to Rockland a couple of times. A lobster boat shop is a unique business, glad you're helping out the high school kids, anyone who has an interest in wrenching at that age should appreciate a mentor

Yes! Welcome to the forum! I had to look up Columbia Falls on Google Maps. I'm very familiar with the southern coast, but I've never been beyond Bar Harbor. I don't eat a lot of lobster, but I appreciate what the lobster-men and guys like you do to put food on my table.

Thanks, it’s a good life up here, lobster fishing is a big money business. The real coastal maine starts above bar harbor

Thanks, nobody would let me in their shop when I was a kid so I figured let’s see if I could get some interest and keep them out of bad trouble, there is such a thing as good trouble though
