Long time lurker, first time poster. Live in the county outside Weaver, Alabama. Been reading about the garages and shops on here for a while now and finally got motovated to do something with things here. Trigger was when a standing dead pine fell on the shed on the side of the barn and tore it down along with the supports for the barns 2nd floor on that side. Time to repair/rebuild and salvage what I can. Will start a thread on it soon.

Howdy and welcome aboard!
Sorry to hear about your disaster; but as the saying goes:

DePatty: welcome to our forum and hope you like being able to now post your questions and answers now that you are a member. you can also see and post pictures and if you want to learn how to post pictures can you post a few of the tree sitting in your barn. sorry to hear that happened, but hopefully the fix will make things better.

good luck

Here's the only one I took of the damage as a whole and this was after getting the tree off and some of the brush and **** cleared away. Had missplaced my camera. :(

DePatty: when you start a thread you might also put the link to that thread in your signature so when you are on other threads asking questions or sharing your knowledge you might gain a few more lookers.

best of luck on the project and take plenty of pictures of both before and after to post.
