Hello all, I've been lurking for quite some time, gathering inspiration from the awesome building practices that I've seen here. I'm almost two years into my first go at home ownership now. Purchased something cheap and really getting a new understanding of "you get what you pay for." 
Also gaining a new respect for how complicated houses are. You can never just fix one problem because its tied into 8 other things. Looking forward to posting up some pictures of my more frustrating and complex required repairs for some insight from those that have more experience and some better ideas on the proper way to fix things and make my house and garage more usable.
