Hello from England

Hi just a short introduction, my name is Martin and I live in the west of England, I have recently retired and own an old cottage where i live with my partner Nicola [Nicki], but more important I have a 22ft X 48ft garage. It has a history and when I figure how to post pictures I will start a thread.

Hi guys, thanks for the welcome. In reply to g24 no Im not a Jag owner, I was many years ago,Jaguar Mk1 2.4 No 6 off production line, lousy brakes, Jaguar Mk9 3.8.

Martin: welcome to the forum (or i guess welcome back since this is an old 2012 post) and glad to see another member join from across the pond. looking forward to more pictures of that old garage when you get time to post them.

a little tip on posting pictures. first of all learn to post a lot of pictures with your posts and i'd say that is becoming the "golden rule" for GJ. now to get you started so you can.

do you know how to save pictures to your computer? I'm guessing you do, but if you don't just ask. so now you have a picture on your computer and you want to add one or up to 7 per each post (one at a time). can you see the paperclip above where you are writing your posts? click on that just like you would when attaching a picture to an email. a pop up window will come up so you may need to set your computer to allow them for this site.

now click on browse, find a picture on your computer, and do that up to 7 times per posts. then you can preview your posts before submitting them or i think you have up to a minute or maybe two to edit a post after you post without the edit line coming up on the bottom of your post.

if you have any questions still please ask here because i'm starting to check this thread to help new members when i get a chance or maybe someone else can. by the way as your first picture posts can you take a few pictures of your garage or just of great spots in England because i still haven't been there in almost 60 years of being above dirt?
