My name is Bryan, I love my pole barn. 32x48 insulated, heated, water, electric, compressed air.... it's a mini heaven. Just found this forum to try and get the place cleaned up and organized.

Eriehunter nice space, lots to work with. Looks like you are working on a chevy project, is it a 55?

Thanks everybody.... I've been looking around at some of the ideas here, wish I would have planned for a lift!! :lol_hitti have been thinking about modifying some truss work, but that will be much later down the road. I gotta get more organizied as I have alot of space but right now things are kinda "spread out".

I have 2 project cars, the yellow one is a 57 chevy, it's a 150 car I have an original 283 for it and the dual quad set up. The second one is buried in behind the 57 and that is a 73 chevelle SS 350 4spd w posi. the 73 is kinda rusty so I want to do the 57 first as that car is super clean for it's age.

This is my first post, but it's good to know there's someone else from Erie on GJ.
I just moved back to North East and in the process of buying my grandparents house. Hopefully I can get some pictures up soon of my garage and barn.

Erie: welcome to the forum and you have a great space and lots of great projects. if you need to lift something heavy you came to the right place. i needed to move a 1500 pound surface plate (steel table) and with the right tools i did it by myself once i got it to my garage.

check out the lift threads and if I worked on cars a lot i'd consider buying a Max Jax and they have a mobile system on wheels and a video on their web site showing a 20 year old setting it up in about 5 minutes.

good luck
