My name is Bryan, I love my pole barn. 32x48 insulated, heated, water, electric, compressed air.... it's a mini heaven. Just found this forum to try and get the place cleaned up and organized.

Thanks everybody.... I've been looking around at some of the ideas here, wish I would have planned for a lift!! have been thinking about modifying some truss work, but that will be much later down the road. I gotta get more organizied as I have alot of space but right now things are kinda "spread out".

I have 2 project cars, the yellow one is a 57 chevy, it's a 150 car I have an original 283 for it and the dual quad set up. The second one is buried in behind the 57 and that is a 73 chevelle SS 350 4spd w posi. the 73 is kinda rusty so I want to do the 57 first as that car is super clean for it's age.

Erie: welcome to the forum and you have a great space and lots of great projects. if you need to lift something heavy you came to the right place. i needed to move a 1500 pound surface plate (steel table) and with the right tools i did it by myself once i got it to my garage.

check out the lift threads and if I worked on cars a lot i'd consider buying a Max Jax and they have a mobile system on wheels and a video on their web site showing a 20 year old setting it up in about 5 minutes.
