Hello everyone! I have been lurking here for a few weeks and I finally have a reason to post. My garage was finished yesterday and have already gotten all kinds of great ideas from you all on how to make it what I have always wanted.
It is 24x30 steel framed with 2- 10’x10’ roll-up doors and 12’ sides w/ a 15’ peak. The plan is to add a roof connecting the two buildings and to park the travel trailer under it. My plan for the larger building is to use the right side as a workshop area with a storage loft in the back and the left side to park the future boat. The 12x30 shed will be used as a workout area.

I don't have much experience with steel framing of this type. Any ideas on the loft construction. electrical, insulation etc. would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Welcome to GJ, Chris. Nice place you have to start with. Plenty of opportunities.

Check out our 'Flooring' section for all different flooring options and discussions. I was concerned about our weather and frequently having wet floors and finally went with RaceDeck. I could have had epoxy with a grit, but with my bus in my garage, I couldn't get it empty to paint it all at once. Browse around and try the Search feature at the top of the page. I've heard Seal Krete mentioned, but don't remember where.

Good Luck on your project.

Thanks guys. Wingnut65- I ordered an epoxy floor kit from http://www.epoxy-coat.com. I found them on here and the product got rave reviews from the other members. Much better than others I looked up. I went with a grey base with red and black flakes. The kit comes with an anti slip aggregate so that will help for when it gets wet.The guys over in the lighting-electrical board gave me some good advice too. Thanks again!
