just found this forum, wanted to say hello. newbie from FL. I've built several pole barns, and just sold property that had my favorite barn on it, and purchasing property that is "Barnless".
I want to build a small garage/ barn (like an 18' x 21'x 9'), and looking for ideas.
comparing stick-built vs pole built vs metal kits from Carolina carports:

Which way would be most economical for a small building? thought about stickbuilt and attaching horizontal metal directly to 2 x 4 studs, in a horizontal pattern.
Any ideas?
