Howdy!

I stumbled on this forum this evening looking for information on venting of cyclone dust collectors. I have searched many forums with limited success. The discussion threads I was able to read here, convinced me this was a special forum and I needed to sign up!

I just pulled my permit to add 240v circuits to my new shop space. I will be installing a cabinet saw, a combo jointer/planer and a Bill Pence designed cyclone dust collector.

From what I have read already, you guys (and gals) will be great resources for answers to any questions I may generate as I start outfitting my shop.

Jim: you might want to put your location in your profile so you'll get better answers to your questions if you have any. i don't use a dust collection system yet, but i'm thinking of setting up a smaller one that uses a shop vac for my bench grinders and buffers.
