Hello! Recently bought a property with a 1995 built Ragland 40x60 pole barn on it, with a stone dust floor. After the purchase, I realized there was substantial post rot at the ground, so had that repaired. Getting everything organized now.
Plans are a 12' or 14' overhang on the east side, half will be hay storage and half will be for the horses to have shelter. Also going to loft the back 10', and frame up a tack room in there somewhere. In the barn currently is my truck, trailer, a small shop area, 2 tractors, and various odds and ends. Have some minor roof leaks to fix - priority numero uno.
I have to say - You guys have incredible garages! Garage-mahals!
I know nothing about anything, but I'm stubborn, unusually strong for my size, and willing to learn by making a mistake if necessary. "Don't let perfect be the enemy of good" (while having the thing stand, not fall down...). Thanks for having me, a horse-person-garage-imposter.
