Just Wanted to say hey. Just found out that my wife is pregnant. The spare bedroom that we currently use for housing the reptiles, will become the baby's room, and the scaled friends will move to the detached garage.
The garage is a 24x16. Once the project is done, it will include a 16x16 heated, and insulated haven for both myself and the pets.
I am waiting on the weather to finally warm up so that I can get this started. The baby is due 24 NOV, but would really like it to be done by July.

As for myself, I am 28 and in the Army. I have spent the last 10 1/2 years in. I love do it yourself projects, and this will probably be my biggest to date.

Looking forward to getting some good info from everyone
See ya round

Welcome to the board; alot of good information is available ... I thought reptiles are cold blooded creatures, so why would the garage need to be heated? :)

Cold blooded means they don't make their own body heat, they get their heat from their surroundings...that's why you've never heard of an Alaskan lizard.:lol_hitti

Welcome aboard, Phattony.:)
