I found this place about a week ago and immediately found useful info on lighting my garage/shop. I recently retired after teaching industrial art/technology for 42 years. I do woodworking, light auto repair, lawnmower maintenance/repair and home improvement projects. My passion lies with woodworking. I'm a huge supporter of middle school and high school athletics and will remain active in them in retirement. I also like college sports. At the pro level I support the Colts.

I bought my drill press and 2 bench tops at auction. They came from my old jr. high. I remember using the drill press and found my initials in the top:thumbup:

Thanks for the replies. Yes, budget cuts have hit hard here. I didn't plan on retiring for 1 more year, but a buy out offer to get young, less expensive teachers changed my mind. I'm actually west of Indy in a bedroom community. And yes, school auctions can sometimes get a wise bidder a steal and a foolish bidder pure junk.
