Hi Everyone. I've been visiting GJ several times per day for the past few weeks. Very interesting topics, lots of great posts / information from many people. Seems like a good place to hang out and continue learning, and hopefully get some additional motivation to finish my projects. As one friend said, I have "enough projects to last a lifetime". Unfortunately house projects have been the focus lately, but those are coming to a close. On to the garage and car projects!
Attached are a few pictures of my garage build in Iowa. Started in 06, it isn't really finished. I'd be ashamed to post some of the current cluttered pics. Where did I get all that stuff! Reading GJ over the past few weeks has helped me understand what I could do to get a workable shop/storage area.
While the housing market has been rough on all of us over the past few years, we were lucky enough to take advantage of the foreclosure market in Las Vegas with a new-to-us townhome. I'll be showing a garage build out there too. Only an 19x19 (they call it '2 car') and I've actually jammed a truck and car in that spot, plus a motorcycle. Hopefully I can find some good before pictures... as the after pics will show really tidy storage and a used set of flow through Racedeck once I get that installed.
Well, carry on everyone and keep the variety of ideas, pictures, and information coming! I'll hopefully be able to jump in from time to time with a comment here or there.
