Been a long time viewer. Quite frequently I’ve been directed to this page when looking for various answers. I recently lost my parents so I’ve been tinkering around the garage more just trying to keep my mind busy and thought I would join the page and enjoy some conversations.

Welcome Farmstrong! GJ is a great source of wisdom. Be aware that joining does put you at risk of developing some serious side effects, though. Before I found GJ I was completely satisfied to own only 1 bench vise, only 1 bench grinder, and I only shopped for power tools when replacing something old and wore out. Since joining GJ I've added about 20 old vises and Cman block grinders to the inventory and I'm always looking to buy the next new power tool, whether I need it or not. I keep telling myself, just one more fix, Lord, might do the trick, but I know I can't stop.... I've got a monkey on my back!
