Long time lurker, finally getting around to posting.

Name is Mike, and I live in Kalamazoo (Southwest michigan). Primarily interested in automotive hobbies (24hrs of Lemons to be specific!) but of course its one of those that requires all the supporting skills!

I have a question about vise's, anxious to get my post count up to 5 so i can share images!

I once was from your neck of the woods. They were still building Checkers, then, and Fisher Body was off I-94, a tool & die-maker for them lived across the street, and he was very-kind to a young adult, trying to keep his transportation going.

It was a good place to spend warm weather, I wasn't much-of a winter outside sports or hunting person, so my move 1250 miles south suits me much-better. I was in The 'Zoo last fall, for a high school reunion. Where we lived, between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, in the summer, you could hear the cars growling-around Galesburg Speedway.

Air Zoo is one of my favorite museums, ever.

One of my best friends, his dad owned a AAA/USAC/Champ Car/Indy car team, based in Kalamazoo (no not Jim Gilmore, though I know members of the extended family) and that was fun to-see their garage, they owned and ran Indy cars, sprint cars, and midgets.
