I’ve been reading and learning from garage journal for years. A little over a year ago I finally joined because I was tired of reading great posts but missing all the pictures.

My wife and I are currently renting so it will be a few years before I can get a garage I’d really like. My current garage has to serve multiple duties including tool storage, lawn shed, woodworking shop, workout room. Pretty much everything except parking a car.

I’ve been really impressed with garage journal over the years with the camaraderie everyone has here. It is a refreshing outlier in the world of online forums where everyone is hiding behind a digital mask.

I appreciate all the ideas I’ve benefitted from on here and I am looking forward to eventually sharing my garage adventures.

Welcome, I started participating about 6 months ago. Your neighbor to the North in Nebraska.

Thank you. I have spent a lot of my time to the North. My grandparents on both sides had farms in Nebraska, which are still in the family.

Hi and Welcome aboard! Enjoy the stay.

Thank you. I am looking forward to the ride.

Welcome to the Forum from the Crowned City in San Diego Bay.

Thanks. I personally have no desire to live in San Diego, but I have visited multiple times. Regardless of the time of year, it is nearly always absolutely beautiful. The only exception I can remember was a meeting in 2004 when San Diego was surrounded by wildfires. Other than that, you can’t beat the view of the ocean with a beer in your hand.

Hello and Welcome! I too am trying to transform my garage. Looking changing my 620 sq ft garage into a workout area, bike repair area, motorcycle project and car maintenance area.
