Long time lurker who finally registered so I could ask some questions.
Last year we were able to move into a new place outside the city limits with 3+ acres. Since then our fleet of vehicles and toys has outstripped our storage abilities.
I'm coming here to learn more about hobby garage ideas, pros and cons of different types, and to bounce ideas off of people. I plan to start my project this summer, maybe late spring if I feel froggy.
Basic plans: ~36'x36' garage w/ a 2-post lift for project work, 4-post lift for storage, wall-mounted motorcycle lift for storage, drive thru capability, 10-12' walls, hot-water radiant heated floors, insulated, and lights for days.
