Been lurking here for quite a few years. I've gotten quite a bit of great info from you guys on this site and used it when my wife and I built our garage here on Long Island NY we are now. It's not much, just a 22'x22'x8' but it serves us well, and yes, other than the slab we built it ourselves.

One decision I made from my info here was to get a BelAire two stage compressor which I will be bringing to our new garage. It's great.

Our new garage is just outside of Bristol TN. This is being built along with our house and barn. I just don't have it in me to build it myself. Between being a bit over 600 miles away and getting older it's harder. One thing I did do though was the rough in on the electric with one of our sons. I guess I had to pee on my fire hydrant just enough to make it mine.

Either way, I figured I'd finally make my first post and include some pics of the new garage. It's 40'x25'x13'. Stick built (2x6) on an extra thick slab on one side so I can install a Bendpak lift. It will have heat, water, and cable.

Hope you like the pics.

Our son doing some fire caulk as we did the rough in. The blocking and plywood you see in the ceiling is so I can just screw in the lights without having to use anchors.
