Hello from Long Island NY

Before I do my first question thread I am saying hello. I am located in NY on Long Island. I am like it says Retired form FDNY. Prior to that I was a Automotive Design Engineer and taught Automotive and Diesel Mechanics. I don't do much of anything anymore due to health issues. But I am still rebuilding my house from Hurricane Sandy, after 6ft of water ran through it. Which is why I am here to post a question about heating my garage and what is now a storage space. That use to be a crawl space with a 3ft ceiling. I will get into the particulars in my post about using either 2 Hydronic Modine ceiling hung heaters run off my Combi boiler. Or separate gas fired Modine Hot Dawg heaters.

Welcome to GJ from Canada! I've spent quite a bit of time, right in the center of Long Island. My company used to have their head office in Hauppauge, the hotel we stayed at when visiting there was in Smithtown. Very nice country around there.
