I've been a lurker for a few years now, and just now rediscovered GarageJournal, and decided to join.
I'm a mechanical design engineer who designs parts washers for a living, and then I oversee their construction, sometimes helping out with the latter (this is one of the great parts of my job...actually SEEING your idea come to life!)
I have a little girl, and when I'm not spending time playing with her, I enjoy fixing my cars and building woodworking projects in my garage (which is so full of tools, btw, that there is no room to park my cars...they stand outside).
I enjoy the banter on this site, and will stop by whenever I get time!
