Hello fellow tool junkies.
I am working in a small 2 stall garage just south of Mex city, mostly tune up and brake stuff.
came here with almost nothing in tools, not even sure a job could be found!
I got very lucky :bounce:.....been here a few years now and got just about everything a mechanic could want by now.
I have been reading the threads with lots of interest as this is what its all about. Quality tools doñt make a quality job but they sure as hell help a good mech get the job done faster and with less frustation.

I'll be lurking and reading for a while more. Keep up the great posts!

Its the border and port towns that suffer the worst from the trafficing crews. I have been here a few years now and have seen less crime than in a month in Wisconsin. If you stay out of the easy money areas nobody seems to care if you are here or not. If you try to get into them as competition, everybody with a gun knows your name.

I laid low, found a lady and made her my wife. I am never going to be able to retire on the money I make but I can feed my family. Thats what matters to me. It is a very laid back and safe area I live in.
