There are alot of people that go off roading with trucks, jeeps and atv's. There are a few clubs around as well. I am not involved in any off roading activities but know some people that are. I'm a hot rod/ muscle car guy. If you ever plan on coming up this way, let me know and I'll try to find some info for you.
Thanks, Ive flirted with the idea of retiring up that way,..and own several off road toys, looking for a place I can do both, be idle, and have something to do. Actually, with the economy and all, I guess I am retired, I just didn't get to make the call, either that or I'm professionally un-employed.
Anyway, I was wanting to take a road trip up your way this summer, but we bought a second place, and well that has taken up all my time... so maybe next year.
Wanted to drive up to Marquette, and then down through Mackinaw, haven't been there since I was a kid, and was going to run through Traverse, and down the east side of the lake, and back to the **** hole in which I currently reside !
