I have been on this forum for a while, but this is my second post. I currently have a 2 car attached that the previous owner put a wall and door up to make separate rooms. It is packed with a washer/dryer, laundry stuff, storage, tools, riding mower and my high school car. It is almost useless, but that is all about to change. Tomorrow I close on a house on 5 acres with a 30x45 garage. The front 30x30 section is dry-walled, carpeted, heated and cooled. The back 30x15 area is like a shop with open studs and rafters, concrete floor and shelving. I plan on keeping it like this minus the carpet. This will give me a clean and dirty work area. I am so excited I can't stand it, and am just introducing myself due to fear of jinxing the deal on the house.
The house is a foreclosure, so immediate efforts will be to get the house in the shape we want. It will be summer before I can get to work in the garage. My Dad already told my wife we may not be getting a house warming gift because he has bought me a garage warming gift
