Hello From Minneapolis, MN

I've just recently stumbled upon this great forum for garage enthusiasts and wanted to say 'hey'. I've been slowly upgrading my 24x21 garage in suburban Minneapolis since last summer and will definitely be sharing the process with you all very soon!

Gilby: do you have any pictures of your garage, car or favorite pet to share so you'll know how to when you start asking questions on other threads? also any hobbies? the last time i flew out of Minneapolis i thought i saw a baseball field about every mile or so. do they really play that much baseball?

This is the only picture I have handy at the moment. Bought the house about 1½ years ago and was looking forward to finishing the garage as one of my long-term projects. It was just your basic unfinished garage but a little deeper than most, which is nice for all my other projects.

So as you can see, I've insulated all the walls and put up vapor barrier (with free insulation scored from craigslist). I'll definitely be starting a thread in the 'Garage Gallery' to document my progress in the near future.

Gilby: now that you know how to post pictures you are ready to start a thread or post pictures with your questions. i'm not sure if you have read very many threads, but here is a good one to read with a transformation of a single car garage that has plenty of pictures, details and a few cool videos.

I'm sure there are others, but thought i'd share this one because it's one of the smaller garages and not a 40 x 120 like some of the members have.

good luck with your garage build and hope to see you around the forum. i usually hang in old tool sections and especially vises.

Copy that. I'll definitely have some questions for everyone along the way. As for your question about baseball in Minneapolis, I suppose we do like our baseball in the summertime. It's something to do between hockey seasons.
