Hi all, new member in Apex, NC. I signed up a few months ago for easier lurking while researching some garage floor options, but never posted. And I still haven't gotten started on my garage yet.

I went from a 24x26 at my previous house to a split 3-car at the new place. The plan is to keep the two-bay side for parking and some up-high storage, and outfit the single as the working/messy area. I need to get moving on it, because we close on the old house in a few weeks, and I need to bring my leaky old Scout over to the new house.

So I'll be asking y'all for much advice and inspiration soon. A few pics:

The single's floor is 13' 4" by 23' 8". Right now I'm leaning heavily towards a PVC snap-together floor, but haven't ordered anything yet. I want to build a bench across most of the back wall, maybe with cabinets above. Completely stuck on shelving on the sides - my old garage was bare studs and insulation, so the old shelf bracket + 2x10 shelving was perfect. I feel like I need to do something nice here.

In the cubby connecting the two, I want to hang cabinets, leaving enough room for a fridge. Maybe some more shelving, too.

The main section is pretty snug, about 20x20, but fine for parking our cars. I'll probably just put some shelves above head level in here.

I have a lot of decisions and work ahead of me, but I look forward to putting together a nice space. There are some great builds on here - it's information overload looking at all of the build threads and trying to absorb bits and pieces of good info from each.
