Hi everyone, long time lurker here so this introduction has been a long time coming. I am not sure how much I can add in expertise with the exception of photography and computers but I love tools and insist on not paying anybody to do something I think I can handle. The Garage Journal has always been a great resource for me.

NC is an interesting state. 3 distinct region. Seashore (low country), middle, western (southern foothills of the Smokies).

Classified as Coastal Plain, Piedmont, Foothills. I am right on the breakpoint between Coastal Plain and Piedmont.
