Hello from NC

Good evening to all . I joined here because you guys seem to have a lot of good ideas about building/organizing the garage and shop. One bit of advice i learned the hard way. NEVER NEVER NEVER move from a house that has a basement into one that does not! I ended up with the tools from my basement wood shop taking up a full bay of my average size garage at the new place. Some years later I have finally had a 12 x 16 shed built so that I MIGHT get a place to park my car..... but my wife LOVEs the house. The shed will house a few tools and will be a place to hide.

Enough BS from here. Looking forward to learning a lot.

We took down three walls of a 22X22 "two car" garage to build a 25X42 garage. (still not big enough...)

Thanks guys, glad to see more NC types here. I've been here 8 years following the move described above. I am close enough to Raleigh for the gas prices to be too high.
