Good Morning!
Thanks for the add...I have been gleaning lots of great information here in relation to a champion air compressor I just bought on Market Place for $250. VR5-6 with what I think is a R15 pump not sure of A vs B. The crappy thing is I tripped loading the compressor and ended up under the nearly 600# monster and got pretty banged up. The end result for the compressor is I am quite sure I bent the crankshaft. 3 phase 5 hp which I got up and running and saw the horrible wobble in the flywheel. I was hoping to get some help with my situation. Where is the appropriate location here to post for questions related to this? Thanks in advace!

Welcome from Chatham County. Where are you in NC? Good idea to put your location with your name for future reference.

Welcome to the Forum from Southwestern California. Compressors are valuable, not so much that you risk your life in an attempt to keep it from falling.

You might want to check to see if the runout of your pulley is caused by a bent pulley rather than the crankshaft. A dial gauge might be required to measure crankshaft runout.

Quite possible the flywheel is bent also but the crank is visibly bent. I decided to order a new crankshaft. Pulling the flywheel tonight and see what It looks like laying on a flat surface. When she started to go down with me. I did every I could to get out from under it. Is what it is…… got lucky could have been hurt a lot worse.
