Just a quick hello from Central New York. I'm a DIY guy who's finally starting to build a decent tool box after 30 years of using whatever was around. That's not fully true. Back in the day (94ish) my dad bought him and I a Benchtop toolbox/set that I still have (most of). And honestly those tools took a beating. Used the 1/2" ratchet on a 4' 2" pipe to remove an axle nut on my beetle. I actually let the pipe hit the ground and drove the car to loosen the nut. I was a kid and didn't know any better. And in early 2k I inherited my wife’s family's 89 Jeep Wrangler, so I went and bought a 99pc craftsman mechanics set that I still use. Granted all the ratchets are shot and need a rebuild. I do the maintenance on our cars/lawn equiment/kids go kart and fix stuff around the house that I'm able to. Also trying to get my daughters into fixing and tinkering. They "helped" with the brake job on my wifes Rav4... sorta, they handed my the wrong tools and complained how hot it was out. Been a tinkerer for as long as I can remember. I broke more appliances and toy's than I can remember. Not sure how my parents kept their cool with me. Anyways howdy!
