Well just outside of New Orleans. I live in a mid century modern house and after 5 years I’m finally building a garage/shop. I’m in the planning stage but I’m hoping for a 28x40. We will have to see if that over takes too much yard.

May I suggest you update your profile with a location (other than at below sea level. New Orleans would suffice.) as in future you may find that helps. Specially given this is a very global forum. Often you will find subjects may get different answers depending on locations and regulations.
