hey all, new member from Norfolk, Va . I am in the HVACR field. Just bought a Craftsman 150 DP 113.24501 and a Craftsman 10" table saw 113.29900, both from 1964 I believe. I am refurbishing both. Starting with the DP, It has a bit of a spindle wobble. So I have taken it all apart and have been reading the super advice here for the past two days. Just ordered bearings. I will be happier than a clam in mud if I get it all back together and it isn't worse than when I started. Practice makes.....better. Have fun and PRESS on:bowdown:

Welcome to the Forum from Southwestern California. Good Luck on taking the wobble out of your Drill Press Spindle, replacing the bearings should make a big difference.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Virginian. I'll admit to not knowing the R in HVACR was...Google tells me it is refrigeration, which makes perfect sense. I'm a little slow sometimes I guess.

Congrats on the recent tool acquisitions.
There are a couple things you should know about this forum.

You can't afford it unless you pay cash for it.
Bang his wife is the appropriate response for anytime you've been done wrong.
A crewcab dually with a diesel engine is the appropriate vehicle to haul anything larger than a paperclip.

That'll get your started.

Add in "You ****" is a compliment and award when you get a really good deal on something, but it has to be given by someone else. You can't **** yourself!

Thanks Nadogail, I did get the wobble out of the drill press, FrankLee's thread was invaluable for the work I did. Thanks for the Welcome message!
