Hi all, new to the board so stopping in to introduce myself. Just getting some ideas for a basic 2 car garage, nothing fancy like some of the shops I have seen on here! Just trying to make it a little more functional so I can start restoring my '69 Chevelle

Welcome to GJ, e13. Hope we can get you enough ideas to make your shop better than you thought you wanted it. You do know, of course, that mentioning a classic ride in an introduction will need to be followed up with pix of that ride???

I started my adventures in Charlotte, but moved down south before I could walk...

Welcome to the GJ. I re-did my 2 car garage in Eastern NC last summer for my 79 Monte, so I know where you're coming from! Where are you located? I agree with Wingnut, we need to see some pics of that Chevelle. What are your plans for it?

I am on the north side of Charlotte. Once I get the car out of storage (field with a fence, lol) I will post some pics. I have some film pictures of it that I need to scan and I can post those! It was my first car, have had it for 23 years, and I have held onto it although it hasn't been operational in over 10 years.

Working with a small space (20x20) garage, I am concentrating on storage and workability right now. I have already seen lots of great ideas on here and hoping to get my space to the point I need to undertake a full teardown in there.

Thanks for the welcome gents!
