I made most of my living as a mechanic, except for a stretch [1974-1979] working for Brown & Root as a millwright. When I worked for other garages it was independent garages, mostly. I worked for a dealership, only once. I had my own garage twice. I am now disabled living off social security. I am here to simply read and remember back. I have been out of circulation since April, 1997, so I am far behind today's technology.

I use to shoe horses and break them to plow and ride.

I use to enjoy working on and riding motorsikles.

I have spent time in machine shops.

Mule

Howdy Mule. April 1997 strikes a chord in my memory. And I've spent some time in NE Texas, although I suppose what constitutes NE and just E Texas may be somewhat debatable to some.

Texas has two North East corners. I am in the Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana corner. I get my mail from Maud, but I am in Redwater school district. I am 7 miles from Maud, but 2 miles from Redwater.
