Hello From Northern MN

Hey All,

Just got introduced to the GJ from a coworker. I'm a teacher by trade but love remodeling and building! Have gone through and flipped 2.5 houses with my "skills". Working through trying to finish the 3rd.

I'm in the process of getting my cold storage, 30x40 pole barn insulated and turned into my shop. I eventually want to build saunas and sell them out of my shop.

I've been very impressed by the amount of knowledge the other members have!

Where at roughly in northern Minnesota?
I’m in central Minnesota, have a sister in grand marais north of Duluth, other brother and sister live about 20 minutes from me.

About an hour west of Duluth on hwy 2.

Sauna's as in a barrel sauna or a little building or what kind ? I've always thought it would be fun to build picnic tables out of my shop for some reason lol. Maybe we could team up

Saunas would be stick built. My own personal one I've built is 8x16. 4ft deck, 4ft changing room, and 8ft hot room. They would be trailered and dropped off.
Yeah not McGregor, Grand Rapids.

My G-parents had a farm outside of Warroad. I spent a lot of summers (and one winter as a youngin’ while Dad was in ‘Nam) up there during the ‘60s.

Greetings from the cornfields of SE Iowa! Grew up in St. Paul and worked early in my career in St. Cloud. The North Shore and BWCA are some of my favorite areas to visit. Now I am enjoying the much milder weather and longer growing seasons that Iowa provide. Many less mosquitoes here too, although we do have our share of flies in the summer. Once again, welcome!
