Hello From Nova Scotia

Hello. I'm from Nova Scotia and I'm going to build a detached garage this spring / summer (well, I'm having it built).

I'm thinking either 24 X 24 or 26 X 26 with a loft area.

Joined this site in hope to get suggestions and tips.

why is the province next to you named "New Brunswick", but where you are is "Nova Scotia"?

Yes, I will certainly post lots of pictures when the project begins. And although I'm not a historian, I suspect 'New' Brunswick is a re-naming situation from some area of England. And 'Nova Scotia' is Nouvelle Ecossse (French) which translates to New Scotland. Links to the first European settlers, I suppose.
