im drabe. im 17 and live in central new york. i have always had a facisnation with tools, contruction, equipment and just working with my hands. im not the most mechanically inclined but i can tell you how a diesel engine works and how to pull an engine out of a 1980 JCB Backhoe. i want to be a diesel mechanic someday. though im not the best mechanic(i want to learn though)
one thing i am good at is carpentry. for a 17 year old i can frame walls. layout stairs, and frame rafters pretty well. one way for me to learn is volunteer at a local boyscout camp where i help other volunteers who are mechanics help the ranger fix the backhoe and work trucks. this is one of the few times i actually get to tinker with engines and machinary. im learning a lot from this forum already and im jealous but i work with waht i got
