GHD: if you want to learn and share your wisdom you've arrived in the right place. can you post up a few pictures of any of your favorite cars, bikes, tools or garage so you'll know how if you start any threads or ask questions that need pictures?

welcome and lots of members from your part of the world are on our forum.

Thanks all.....but I think I'm going g to leave this forum....
Seemed like a good place, especially the want ads and vintage tool stuff. ..
But......seems a bit ridiculous to me that I cannot post in the wanted section...until I have 100 posts....
Sure there is reasonable for it....and may make sense to most of you, but unfortunately....not to me.

Thanks

GHD: if you have already left that is too bad. if the owners allowed brand new members to post in the want ads and classifieds right away there were be more spammers than there is already by far. also putting members at risk to the people that are not honest would be harder to manage.

it's truly not that hard to get 100 posts if you participate and are willing to learn and teach us what you know. so stick around.

also what is it you want because i buy or sell at least something daily and not always with members of this forum.

cheers

Thanks for the welcomes....
Considering the fact that I DO understand why the rules are the way they are.....I suppose I'll stick around ;)
I'm sure once I get into it, won't take long to clear that 100 post mark....
One of the reasons for joining was to hopefully find some older German Kukko tools for my BMWs...

GHD: may I suggest you read some threads that might have those tools in them or of BMW owners so you can see where they buy or trade theirs.

Since I've never heard of those tools maybe you can start a thread with the company's history and some pictures of those tools to show others what they are and you might be surprised what you find out. also how easy it is to make 100 posts.

good luck and i understand the need to search for old (or new) quality tools because i have been inflicted with that bug too if you might have seen a few posts of mine on the vises of garage journal thread.

cheers
