Hello from Oregon

Found this forum by accident! What a great place to see, learn, and wish! I live in a great split level, with the nicest two car garage that has NO foolish post in the middle to separate the bays. I've brought my Buicks and Cadillac's in here at an angle to do everything from transmission work to simple oil changes.
Myself, I am a retired 70 year old Frenchman, ALWAYS wrenching on sumthin' hence my site name(ratchetfever). I see there are many really nice garages posted here, and I hope to post in the near future, as I learn my way around.
Most of my auto work done now is on Harley Davidsons, with friends and I have a (very) small shop area that I turn out custom parts.
Hope to know more about the members, as I grow with the forum.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Since we're so close together, perhaps we'll meet up somewhere! With the slight exception of 1/2 cup...can't swim that far anymore!

RF: as you get to post up your wisdom and or questions so we get to know you i'm sure you'll meet more than a few of us like i have. when i joined i had only met one member from GJ and in 5 years i might have met close to 100 on individual meetings while getting to know a lot more all over the world.

here's the PNW thread i started a year or so ago that you can introduce yourself on and post cool pictures and stories that some of the local members might appreciate.

some of the guys down your way make the SWAP MEETS a place where they meet up to visit and some just visit trading or buying and selling tools or stuff.

it's a great forum and hopefully you'll like it as much as i do.
