Hello from Ottawa

I have enjoyed browsing around on the main page for a while and finally got around to signing up for the forum.

I am not a major car guy but I like like to do maintenance items and fix some minor things. I am currently getting my garage cleaned up and functional after a few years of neglect and hope to dig into some of projects that have been on the back burner for a while.

My compressor is giving me grief. I am trying to find a source for a tank check valve that is not going to end up costing more to ship than it will be to buy. Other than Amazon, is there any Canadian online sources people would suggest?

Welcome! Have you looked at princess auto for a valve?

Yes. Just quickly online. It doesn't seem like it will be the right one but I haven't brought it in to the store with me to compare. That is my next step. I'll probably bring it in to Ottawa Fastener Supply tomorrow to see if they can source something and maybe swing by Princess Auto on the way home.

Welcome, from Ottawa. Princess Auto will have whatever you need for your compressor. Remove old part, go there, find the replacement.
