Hello everyone. I have been popping on here for years. I am a mostly do it yourself person. I do all repairs and upgrades myself except were prohibited by law.

Welcome aboard. I recently drove from Phoenix to Portland to move my daughter up there where she started working for Nike. My wife and I are considering moving near by, as my skin can't take the sun here any more.

Welcome, to the Forum, I am a native of St. Helens and my family moved to Portland in 1942 because my Father started working in the Willamet Iron and Steel Shipyard. Moved again from Portland in 1951.

My fond memories of Portland include the Forestry Building, it was the world’s largest log cabin. Unfortunately it was lost to a fire from the 1905 electrical wiring.

I spent many hours exploring the museum inside.
