Greetings from the Ocean State garage fans!



Any other Rhode Islander's out there???

I love all types of automobilia. My current obsession is collecting dealer emblems, annoying little dealership advertising put on the trunks of new cars and often removed by many people. Today, most dealers use decals (easier to remove). I look for the die cast metal type, particularly from Rhode Island dealers, but I also collect all types from other states.
I'm only aware of one other dealer emblem collector in the mid-west, we trade duplicates. If anyone collects these, please reach out to me. Of if you have a collection to sell or even one or two for sale, please contact me. I pay usually pay 5 dollars for them, maybe a little more for an really outstanding one, this is not a big budget collecting hobby. Thanks!

CC: sounds like a great hobby. maybe put the wanted post in your sig line and start participating in the forum. a lot of us have that kind of stuff sitting in a drawer or box so the more friends you make here the more your hobby might grow.

i had about 15 vises when i joined here and maybe 20 clamps and i can't count how many i have of each now. i'm learning how to fix and use all of them too which is the fun part.
