I do mostly Vintage British Restorations, but I will work on most anything! I was a dealership technician for a long time and got tired of the rat race. I had so much side work doing restorations and day to day repair that I struck out on my own. It is nice to walk out the back door and walk about fifty feet to work!

Eventually I will get a color scheme and cabinets put up in the shop area. The floor plan upstairs is to house a full bath, kids game and play room, my office, and parts storage. I am currently working on getting a welding and fabrication area set up as well as paint color schemes...any suggestions and ideas are always welcome....thanks Chip

Not only WELCOME - but holy-freakin' cow!!!!!

First-off, did you know the Autoist, Tony? He was also into vintage British Restos but - extremely sadly - left us earlier this year.....:(

Second, I LOVE Datusn's. My first car ever at 15 was a 510 that I made into a full-on BRE tribute racer: triple Mikuni's and all! I've had 240's ever since.

And last but not least, WICKED shop!! I'd love to see more! (Though those are great shots). Do you have any more pics, or a build thread for your cars? Looks like you have lots to show!

Cheers - and WELCOME!

You have a good eye dreamer...I have (4) 510s. Or should I say 3 1/2. The yellow one was purchased this summer by a friend who unfortunately balled it up at Summit Point Drivers School. Good for parts now! The blue one is now my Vintage Racer and is pumping out some pretty good horses. The Cactus green 4dr is my family fun car and is currently going thru a full resto. I have a 2dr tub stored outside. I also have a Eproduction TR6, Classic Range Rover, street TR6, and my first car was a 69 MGC-GT, tow vehicle is a 2006 Dodge 3500. The rest of what you see are customer cars.

Always sad to have a member of the community lost...I lost my dad this past April, but I have (2) wonderful children. The circle of life goes on and we must enjoy the time we have with others.
Yep those 510s are a ton of fun...can't wait to get the 4dr back on the street and make a few road trips myself!

A California welcome to the GJ to you Chip. I've had a B210 (can you believe that) and 510 (a lot of fun) and a 710 wagon in the past. Nice space and cars you have there.

Nope, the large fellow opperates the lift and a thinner guy moves the cars. Couple of real nice, proffesional transporters.

The car that was blocking the Vette was a Lamborghini that runs in the European Supercar Series...pretty sweet

Hey Chip.

I'll drop you a PM, but from my screen name, I'm a huge '60 Vette fan and local here in Richmond, Glen Allen area. Love the work you did on your shop...Looks fantastic. Quite the stable there.

The '60 in the pic has been in my family since '62 when my Dad bought it. It's still in his care back in Pittsburgh...

Your brother's looks awesome...look forward to seeing your work on it.

-Randy.
