Hello! I'm glad to be part of the forum. I am busy working on setting up my garage shop in the house my family and I moved into in April of 2017. I have a lot to do still, but it's nice to be making progress.

Gimme a "Garbage Plate" from Nick Tahou's, and an Abbott's Frozen Custard from Seabreeze, would'ja? And take a pic with my Instamatic 126 film camera, and make some copies on the Xerox. It's a shame about the Rhino's for the next (no) season, idn't it? Hope those king tides don't wash-away our vacation house on Lake Ontario by Braddocks Bay.

Guessing you are referring to Louise Slaughter the Congresswoman? She came from a tough part of the country, Harlan County, KY.
I liked the food at Ackerman's Restaurant on Lyell Ave. when I was a kid, and going to a Big Boy's with my dad was always a treat. I also liked the restaurant in Sibley's Department Store when I was a kid.

Thanks for the warm welcome! There are a lot of things I like about Rochester, just not this time of year. HAHA
We moved from Brighton out to Mendon this past April so that we could be out in the country and it's been awesome. I have just begun getting my shop set up the last two weekends and I am missing my equipment more than ever. There are a lot of positives with the house we bought, one is a much bigger two car garage than we had in Brighton. I will be able to have my shop set up in ways I never could have before.
Once of my goals over the next two years is to figure out a decent garage heating solution and possibly get my garage floor coated somehow. Lots to figure out there.
