Erik: I usually ask new members to post up a few pictures and tell more about themselves just to help them learn how our forum works. for some reason i missed your thread and it wasn't on purpose i can tell you that. i'm a SK fan and i have the 1/2 inch ratchet in my daily use tool box along with other old tools.

happy to hear that SK remained in the US and i'll recommend them every chance i get. keep up the quality and it sounds like customer service and the folks working there are awesome so i'll do my part. i usually like old tools because new shiny junk isn't me, but I've been known to buy a few new tools and items that were quality.

take care and as said before your tool **** is awesome and please post up more if you can. BTW how much is that maybe 3 inch end wrench for my wall?

My sincere thanks to SK for remaining American. I bought my first SK tools at a Vermont parts store called Bailey Brothers back in 1978. The SKs still reside in my box and continue to work. I recently purchased a bunch of your socket sets through Amazon to fill some gaps in my arsenal and I like the look, feel and quality. I expect to pass on my tools to a son or grandson (or granddaughter if I can corrupt her) and SK will become my family heirlooms. Stay away from Asia and you will have my loyalty.

Hey, I'm new here too, but I have a question. Have you guys ever considered making JIS screwdrivers? They're not real easy to find in North America, yet JIS screws are everywhere these days.

You must also run the SK Facebook page then (guessing by the photos)? I saw the teaser for the new ratchet design and am quite excited to find out more about that!

Also looking forward to the SK ratcheting wrenches, but pretty much any tool purchases aren't in the budget of a certain college student right now :(

Welcome from Defiance OH, the site of the old SK / Electrolite wrench factory. I'll have to let some of the retirees in on the news. I have a large collection of the old Electrolite tools.

Hot Damm. I sold S K tools for 10 years at a great tool store in the Dayton, Ohio area.

There is no saying as S and K, it's SK tools !!!! Used to drive us NUTT"S !!

Look at what I found in the barn, this is my collection.

I have several tools in the SK line.

Just thought I would contribute !
