Hello From San Leandro, CA

Just wanted to say hi. I have been a lurker for a while gathering ideas. Ill give a brief history of who I am. I was a Mechanic for 10 years. But I really liked building, and designing stuff. I made the jump into the manufacturing industry as a machinist a year ago. I work for a small engineering consulting firm doing prototype work. We also make machines which is cool. I can honestly say now I enjoy my job.
I have also acquired a couple machines along the way. So needless to say my garage is due for a makeover. So here I am.

Nice, I am about 5 min away. You have been to the kmart car show right? I believe it is on the last thursday of the month. They park their cars in kmarts parking lot and then eat at the restaurant there.

I always see the car show but have never been to the car show. I am kinda a car nut but usually old imports. I have a 71 toyota carina that I have been holding onto. Just waiting to be resurrected with some flare.

I am intrigued by old school cars in general. I have wanted to go to the car show but never got around to it. I really like an original look but with some modern twist.

Have you been to that show?
